The Retreat is conveniently located for flights to and from both Ancona and Pescara . Ryanair offers low-cost. Rome is the preferred arrival airport for most of our oversea visitors and there is a cheap and convenient coach service to us. We pick up from various nearby locations, just let us know where you are flying to and we’ll give you directions.

Flying from overseas
If you are coming from Northern America, Australia or South East Asia you may want to fly to Rome. There is a convenient coach service from Rome Fumicino airport to Pescara or Ascoli Piceno from where we can pick you up. We can help you with your travel planning and give you all the details needed to arrange your journey. Just let us know where you are travelling from and we will help you plan your onward journey. A visit at The Retreat may also provide an ideal opportunity to combine your trip with a stay in Rome, Assisi or Perugia, Florence, etc on your inward or outward journey.

We'll be happy to hold a reservation for you while you are making your travel arrangements, so you can have your flights, etc. in place before confirming your booking

By Rail or coach 

A good train network connects Northern Europe to Le Marche. Train and bus services in Italy are quite cheap and reliable. Tickets can be booked on-line with many interesting European towns worth visiting en route. Trains run as close to the Retreat as Pescara or SanBenedetto del Tronto, where we can pick you up at the station. You can also take a train across from Assisi or Perugia if you want to spend a few days there before or after your stay.
